One Memory Chair
I was Small Town and 14 when we met. I’d just turned 18 when we found ourselves somewhere in Bryce Canyon at sunrise. There were 3 weeks and 5,000 miles of
road and dust between us and home. We were broke, hungry, and jubilant.

Time was unimportant and crept by unnoticed. With this freedom, I realized the only path to happiness is self-governed and self discovered. The pale, banded wood symbolizes optimism fortified with experience. I studied the Basel School of Art for cues in simplicity and movement. The chair holds the
body loosely, allowing support or freedom.
